Documentary approach
Not the version for Instagram. The one you watch when the house is quiet.
I don’t want your wedding to feel like a production.
Most of the day, I’m observing rather than directing. I’ll step in when it helps, then get out of the way when it doesn’t.
The goal isn’t to manufacture moments for the film. It’s to make something from the moments that were already there.

My name is Mitchell and I’ve been filming weddings for more than a decade. Over the years I’ve discovered the parts of the day I’m most interested in aren’t really “wedding videography.”
Whatever is trending right now probably won’t be in twenty years, but seeing your parents and grandparents having a conversation at the reception will be. Those are the things I’m thinking about when I’m at a wedding. What will this couple want to see years from now?
